The Take Charge Juvenile Diversion Program Inc., and also known as the Take Charge Program, is a nationally known Best Practice 501(c)(3) non-profit, community-based organization located in Forestville, Maryland.
The Take Charge Program specializes in reducing juvenile delinquency and recidivism, intervention and behavior modification programming, and family strengthening with outcome measures that include reduced recidivism, truancy, school suspensions, and anti-social behavior, and increased academic performance, community service, graduation rates, and successful college applicants.
Acknowledged for our vital community work by the faith-based community, elected officials, school boards, and community organizations, the Take Charge Program is replicating our successful formula in other jurisdictions in the Washington Metropolitan Area.
