Take Charge Pride Wins Columbia Ravens Classic

(Bowie, Maryland) Jerrod Mustaf, Executive Director of the Take Charge Juvenile Diversion Program, Inc., and Head Coach of the Take Charge Pride Schlolar-Athletes 14u team is pleased to announce their 2018 Columbia RavensChampionship in Ellicott City , Maryland on June 10.  The Take Charge Pride scholar-athletes continued their current streak of victories as they prepare for the Jr. NBA Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament in Pennsylvania in two weeks and the AAU National Championships in Orlando, Florida in July.  Winning the Ravens Classic gave the Pride a total of five(5) tournament championships in the 2018 season.  ” Being competitive and winning AAU games is nice, but I find fulfillment in watching our players graduate middle school this spring with honors and compete on junior varsity summer leagues as incoming freshman.  Their respective progression as student-athletes indicates that we have done a good job building their foundation on and off the court.” says Coach Mustaf.

The Take Charge Pride will continue to represent the rich tradition of exemplary scholar-athletes from Prince George’s County as basketball ambassadors and will remain civically engaged leading up to the Maryland gubernatorial primaries on June 26, 2018.

Take Charge Pride is a premiere competitive basketball program founded by former NBA player Jerrod Mustaf to develop scholar-athletes and gentlemen with quality instruction, mentoring, and life coaching in a supportive and family-oriented environment.
